WHY MAKE HIM SO EPICLY AWESOME IN 60 AND KILL HIM OFF AGAIN IN 61? IT’S LIKE 38/39 ALL THE HELL OVER AGAIN.

AAAAUGH.

When will people learn that Aki/Yuusei is not canon? I’m not just saying this because I’m a DivAki fan, but because it’s just not.

They don’t say they love each other.
Aki is clearly only using Yuusei as a security blanket about Divine – She may not look like she’s grieving, but she might be doing so on the inside. You know, not showing it?
They don’t say they even like each other – they just say “friends” (and last I checked, friends =/= romance unless they’re fwb)

Yuusei is just happy that Aki thinks for herself now and isn’t being controlled. That’s it.
She’s probably happy that she made up with her parents. Maybe not. I don’t know, she doesn’t seem like the forgive and forget type when it comes to betrayal.

Now DivAki, on the other hand – that’s at least half canon. She herself says he’s extremely important to her, even after seeing what he did to those kids. He says “Aki is mine” in 60 (though that could be attributed to possessiveness over his psychics; dude wants his freaking army for revenge).

BASICALLY? If it’s not stated clearly in canon, it’s not canon.

Get over it.

(And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I hate most of the shipping side of the fandom. Other than the severe lack of DivAki)
